The Eurovision Song Contest is a television competition organized every year since 1956 by the European Broadcasting Union (whose member networks can also be located outside Europe). The winning country organizes the competition the following year. The number of participating countries has continuously increased, from seven to forty since the 2000s. The number of viewers too (more than 180,000,000 currently). Over the decades, the Competition has evolved, accompanying fashions, but also historical and political changes (such as the end of the Soviet Empire). The 2020 competition has unfortunately been canceled due to the Covid. Russia would surely have won the competition, the song by the group Little Big was perfect.
